Casey is certified by New York State as both a general and gifted and
talented teacher. As a teacher in New York City public schools, Casey
acquired a vast array of experiences in the classroom. She was the
general education teacher in co-taught inclusion classrooms, a general
education teacher in general classrooms, and a gifted and talented
teacher in gifted classrooms. She earned her bachelor’s degree from
Loyola College in Maryland and her master’s degree from Teachers
College, Columbia University. Casey enjoys spending time with her
family, golfing, and practicing yoga.
